Road Trip

We spent a great time In Egypt and really recommend a trip there. Especially Luxor and the Nile. The last part of our time there we went a road trip from Luxor to Abu Simbel via Aswan. We had a great trip with a guide and driver seeing temples, river, High and Low Dams, Souks, Restaurants and Egyptian everyday life. Abu Simbel was worth thr trip alone. The site is fantastic, well preserved and words cannot describe how fourtunate we feel to have seen all those spectacular things. Some of pictures below show what we experienced however you really have to see them for yourselves!

We reluctantly left Luxor for the UK. Hopefully we surprised most of you and especially Jo. So glad we made it back for her party.

New Years Eve

Spent a lovely evening at Egyptian Restaurant El Kababgy by the Nile. Good food and great entertainment. Good time was had by all but of course missed you all and by all accounts a rowdy Barker party. Next year perhaps? Happy New Year!
