Dudsaghar Waterfalls and our first elephant encounter

Christmas 2009

Had a great eveing out with the team here. A little boozy but its only christmas once a year. We have plenty of other excuses for more over indulgence. We took our first TukTuk ride of the trip. We traveled christmas day to the south to resort of Cavelosium and spent two days at a lovely hotel, we also went to Dudsaghar Waterfalls where Martin swam in te fresh water river (too cold for me!). More pictures to follow. We also enjoyed the fab Gala Dinner with all the trimmings and entertainment. Good christmas but we missed you all, especially Char, Tim and Thom! We headed back north late today after enjoying a day by the pool and the all inclusive - can't beat it! Next drama was the car broke down AGAIN! Taxi for the rest of the journey and we have a car and driver tomorrow - must think up somewhere we really want to go to thats a long way. HAHA! Anyway enjoy the pictures and we hope you all had a great christmas and wish everyone a special 2010! xx

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas

The journey so far ....

Martin in the UK

Martin has completed his whistle stop tour of UK and is now safe and sound with me in Goa and I am very pleased to have him here!!!! Missing you all ALOT. He had an interesting time if a little cold. In fact it now snows whenever Martin visits the UK so remember this when William Hill starts his odds for next winter, just get Martins visiting dates and you're on a sure thing. Lots of thanks for making his trip so good with a special mention to Barry & Anne for their fabulous hospitality. Looking forward to returning ours next summer. He really enjoyed visiting you all and after a stress filled journey to Manachester Airport on monday morning, he made his flight and arrived to enjoy the pleasures of Goa. The first being me driving him from the airport to Calangute, about an hours journey and as there was a small delay on flight we made Panjim (capital of the region) and all its traffic at morning peak. As you remember Martin he isn't keen on being the passenger, and especially when it is me driving, anyway I think he has recovered. LOL! Apparently I manage very well..... HAHA I have added a few picures of his snowy adventure for those of us who rarely experience the shock of ice and snow and a lovely picture of Beryl and her christmas flowers for all Nanny Knowles fans.

A trip South to Paradise Lost - Cola Beach

A great trip south and stayed at in 'tents' at the beach paradise of Cola Beach. Only 15 people there, beautiful sands, lovely seas and a cool fresh water lagoon to swim in.
